  An ancient order of knights, the Jedi Knights, are mentioned to have been guardians of peace in times past. Jedi knights also used "light sabers", a sword of sorts.

  The Death Star is a notable example of a superweapon. The Galactic Empire builds a space station the size of a moon which is capable of destroying planets.

  Obi-Wan Kenobi is an old, wise wizard, who acts as a mentor for Luke.
